My research concerns the history and philosophy of biology, epistemology

My main FSR post-doc project at the UCLouvain focuses on biological possibility. I am also working on historical contingency and development, on stochasticity in gene expression, and I'm working on a paper on the role of chance as an abstractor in molecular biology. I am one of the editors of a special issue of the French journal, Lato Sensu, called Vagueness in Sciences, which was published in 2024. I will soon commence work on single-cell approaches.

This website contains summaries and publications of past work, and descriptions of work in progress. There is also a section devoted to visual art, since drawing helps me narrate the adventures and misadventures of pursuing a career in the humanities.
